Privacy Policy

1.Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide the Service:

• Account information: your registration email address, encrypted password, account creation time, and plan.
• API Key: we store only an irreversible hash of your API Key. The full API Key is displayed only once, when it is created. Signing secrets are stored in encrypted form.
• API call records: the time, endpoint, target website domain and path (excluding query parameters), output format, result status, duration, and quota deducted for each API call.
• Content you submit: URLs, HTML, and other parameters, along with generated screenshots and PDF files.
• Support records: text, images, and videos you send through live chat, along with your browser language.
• Technical information: your IP address, browser type, and language, used for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Creem. We receive only necessary information, such as orders, subscription status, and billing country. We do not receive your full card number.
• Login state: If you use the logged-in screenshot feature, this includes cookies, local storage, and other login credentials you submit through the browser extension or API. These are stored in encrypted form as a "login profile" and used only to capture logged-in pages at your request.

If you provide a proxy server username and password in a request, we use them only for that request and do not include them in logs or API call records.

Login profiles are encrypted and stored in the same manner as signing keys and are write-only: their contents cannot be read back. Neither the API nor the console returns their contents to you; only the website, count, and timestamps are displayed.

2.How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including generating and caching screenshots;
• Verify identity, secure accounts, and detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and attacks;
• Track usage, enforce quotas and rate limits, and manage subscriptions and billing;
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
• Send important service-related notices, such as security alerts, changes to terms, and billing information;
• Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

3.Cookies and Local Storage

We use only cookies and browser local storage necessary for the Service to function: your login status and selected interface language. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking tools.

4.How We Share Information

We share information with third parties only in the following circumstances, and only to the extent necessary:

• Payment partner Creem: to process subscription payments, issue receipts, and handle taxes;
• Server and network providers: to host the Service and its data;
• Email service provider (Alibaba Cloud Direct Mail): Sends verification codes and other account-related emails to your registered email address;
• Translation service providers: Translate the text messages you send through live chat into the language used by customer support staff;
• Legal requirements: As required by laws and regulations or by judicial or administrative authorities, or as necessary to protect the legitimate rights and interests of us, our users, and the public.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will require the recipient to continue protecting your information in accordance with this Policy.

5.Data Location and Cross-Border Transfers

The Service's servers are currently located in the United States. When you use the Service, your information is transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States. We will take reasonable measures to ensure that your information receives the protections described in this Policy, wherever it is processed.

6.Retention Periods

Account information is retained for as long as your account exists. After your account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize this information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

API call records and billing records are retained for as long as needed for usage analysis, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and legal requirements. Cached screenshots and PDF files are retained only for a limited time and are cleared periodically.

Login profiles are retained for a maximum of 30 days, after which their data is automatically cleared. You may also delete them at any time in the console. They are also deleted when you delete your account.

7.Information Security

We protect your information through measures including encryption in transit, irreversible hashing of passwords and API Key values, permission controls, and access isolation. However, no internet transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If a security incident occurs that may affect you, we will notify you promptly as required by law.

Login credentials may only be submitted through encrypted POST requests and are not written to logs or request history. They are sent only to the target website you specify, not to third parties on the page.

8.Your Rights

Depending on the laws of your jurisdiction, such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation, China's Personal Information Protection Law, or applicable California laws, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, restrict or object to our processing, obtain a copy of your information, and withdraw consent.

To exercise these rights, please email support@glanceshot.com. We will respond within 30 days after verifying your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9.Minors

The Service is intended for developers and businesses, not for minors under 16. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected a minor's personal information, we will delete it as soon as possible.

10.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy and revise the "Last updated" date on this page. We will notify you of material changes by email or a website announcement.
